Llamas Custom Guitars
Privacy notice
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Who we are
Llamas Custom Guitars is a guitar maker based in Málaga, Spain, run personally by Ignacio Recio Llamas. Ignacio is responsible for this website and for the personal information described in this notice.
For privacy questions or requests, or to unsubscribe, email spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com.
Enquiries
When you send us an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, message and, if you chose to include them, your Lou choices from the guitar builder (with its estimate) and your Bleus pickup choices. If you fill in the optional quotation details, we also receive your destination country, postcode, tuning and setup requests and preferred payment method. We use them only to reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss a guitar or pickups with you and prepare a quotation. No payment is taken on the website.
For now, enquiries are by email only. Online sending from the Contact form is temporarily switched off while we check that it delivers reliably, so the form doesn’t send anything. Instead, you email spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com yourself. The email link in the Contact section opens your own email app with your message and, if you choose, your woods filled in; the website doesn’t send or keep a copy. That address is a Gmail account, provided by Google.
When online sending is switched back on, an enquiry sent through the form will be passed to Resend, an email delivery service, which will email it to the same address from a Benison Group address (thebenisongroup.com), with your email address as the reply-to. Benison Group, which helps run this website, runs the Resend account. Resend keeps a record of each email it sends, which may include its content, for up to 30 days. The website itself won’t store enquiries; they’ll be kept in the spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com inbox. We’ll update this notice when that happens.
Launch updates
If you sign up in the “Be first to know” window, we record your email address, the date and time of your signup, the consent wording you agreed to, where you signed up (the website) and your subscription status. If you unsubscribe, we record the date you did.
We use your email address only to send you Llamas Custom Guitars launch updates. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Signing up is optional: you can use the whole website without it.
Signups are saved in a Google Sheet kept in a Google Workspace shared drive belonging to Benison Group.
Unsubscribing
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com. We will then stop sending you launch updates. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.
Who can see your information
- Ignacio Recio Llamas, who runs Llamas Custom Guitars and receives enquiries.
- Benison Group, which helps run this website. The signup list is kept in its Google Workspace shared drive, so people Benison Group gives access to that drive can see it. Once online sending is switched back on, enquiries sent through the form will go through its Resend account, so people Benison Group gives access to that account will be able to see them for up to 30 days.
- Resend (Resend, Inc.), which will deliver enquiries sent through the form once online sending is switched back on.
- Google (Google LLC), which provides Gmail (including the spiralmotionrecords@gmail.com inbox), Google Sheets and Google Apps Script.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.), which hosts the website and runs the small functions that pass your signup to Google and, once online sending is back on, your enquiry to Resend. These functions run in Frankfurt, Germany, and don’t keep or log what you type.
How long we keep it
- Launch updates. We keep your signup until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address and the date you unsubscribed, so that we don’t email you again.
- Enquiries. We delete enquiry emails 2 years after our last message with you. Resend’s record of an enquiry sent through the form is kept for up to 30 days.
The rest of the website
- “Let’s talk about guitars” chat. The chat runs entirely in your browser and answers from this website’s FAQ. Nothing you type in it is sent or stored.
- Guitar builder and Bleus pickups. Your choices are saved only in your browser (see below). They reach us only if you add them to an enquiry.
- No analytics or advertising. The website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and its fonts and images are served from this website itself.
- Hosting. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the website and keep it secure.
